Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, has reflected on his rough start at the Emirates Stadium as he prepares to clash with Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United tonight.

Mikel Arteta and Ruben Amorim are clashing in the Premier League for the first time at 9:15 p.m. later tonight, December 4. This will be Amorim’s biggest game in charge of Manchester United since he moved to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon in November.

Like in the case of previous managers at Old Trafford, Amorim is expected to record positive results week in and week out to retain his job.

Interestingly, Amorim’s situation is similar to that of Arteta as he joined Manchester United in the middle of a turbulent season just like the Spanish coach joined Arsenal in the middle of a difficult 2019-2020 season.

Since December 2019 to date, Arteta has managed to orchestrate a remarkable transformation of the team, elevating their performance significantly under intense pressure.

Under Arteta’s stewardship, Arsenal have come heartbreakingly close to securing the Premier League title on two successive occasions. As the current season unfolds, the Gunners find themselves once again in contention for the prestigious trophy, adding to the excitement surrounding the club.
