Another set of standout Nigerian players abroad include Alex Iwobi, who scored for Fulham in a 2-1 win over Leicester City, and Raphael Onyedika, who played 90 minutes for Club Brugge, receiving a 7.3 rating.

In Belgium, Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika shone like a million star for Belgian First Division A Champions Club Brugge but didn’t score a goal. He helped his team beat Dender 2-1 and earned himself a 7.3 rating from Flashscore after 90 minutes of high-level level performance.

In the Premier League, Super Eagles versatile footballer Alex Iwobi shone brightly for Fulham and scored a goal in his team’s 2-1 victory over newly promoted Leicester City who also paraded Nigerian player Wilfred Ndidi.

In the English Championship, Nigerian striker, Josh Maja returned to full fitness for West Brom and scored his fourth goal of the new campaign as his team beat Stoke City 2-1.

In Italy, Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye maintained his starting shirt for Udinese as his team beat Lazio 2-1.

Meanwhile, Nigerian star Simy Nwankwo provided an assist for his club Salernitana, but that wasn’t enough to earn them a win. They suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Südtirol.
