Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland has been awarded the 2024-2025 Premier League Player of the Month award for August after an impressive start to the new season.

Erling Haaland won the award ahead of Mohamed Salah, Bryan Mbeumo, Amadou Onana, Cole Palmer, David Raya, Bukayo Saka, and Danny Welbeck.

With an outstanding performance of scoring seven goals in just three games, Haaland has proven to be a force to be reckoned with in the Premier League this campaign.

Haaland’s exceptional form has positioned him as the early favorite to claim the Premier League Golden Boot, an award he has won in his first two seasons at Manchester City.

Note that Erling Haaland is currently four goals ahead of his closest Golden Boot rivals, Salah of Liverpool, Noni Madueke of Chelsea, Mbeumo of Brentford, and Luis Diaz of Liverpool, who have all scored three league goals each this season.

As part of Manchester City, Haaland has contributed significantly to the team’s perfect start to the 2024-2025 Premier League campaign as the team is yet to drop a point after three games.

With upcoming Premier League fixtures against Brentford and Arsenal with a Champions League tie against Inter Milan in between, Haaland’s form will be crucial in determining City’s success in the new campaign.
