Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo landed in Minna, Niger State, on Sunday evening, heading directly to the hilltop residence of former Military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB).

According to Leadership Newspaper, Obasanjo’s flight landed in Minna at approximately 4:15 pm aboard a chartered aircraft.

He had previously been in Benin City to celebrate with Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion on his 90th birthday.

Upon arriving in Minna, Obasanjo joined a gathering at Babangida’s residence, where he was met by other prominent figures including former Head of State General, Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd) and former National Security Adviser (NSA), General Aliyu Gusau (rtd).

The purpose of Obasanjo’s visit remains unclear, but the high-profile meeting of these distinguished individuals has sparked speculation about its significance in the political landscape.
