Ministerial List: Shehu Sani explains why El-Rufai shouldn’t be confirmed

Shehu Sani, Former Kaduna Senator, said confirming the former governor of his state, Nasir El-Rufai, would be dangerous for Nigeria’s peace.

Sani disclosed this o Tuesday through his Twitter handle reacting to the Senate’s delay of El-Rufai’s confirmation.

Sani, who has strongly criticised El-Rufai, warned that the ex-governor should not be cleared if Nigeria wants peace to reign.

Sani said El-Rufai played god while he was governor.

He alleged that the former governor as a religious extremist and a fanatic.

According to Sani: “The Unconfirmed Ministerial nominee, The Imp who was intoxicated with power, and who arrogantly played God, is now at the mercy of those wielding power.

“A religious extremist with a fanatical political agenda should have no place in the seat of power if that nation desires peace.”

Senate President Godswill Akpabio had transmitted 45 ministerial nominees successfully screened to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
