On the said date, two NPFL matchday 16 games will go down including the mouthwatering Sunshine Stars and Shooting Stars clash at the Remo Star stadium.

Remo Stars who have relinquished their first spot on the league table to Rivers United, are condemned to win the game to remain major contenders for the league table. Note that Remo are going into the matchday sitting on the second spot with 26 points in 15 games, three points behind Rivers.

After the Saturday games, the attention of NPFL enthusiasts will shift to the matches scheduled to go down on Sunday, December 8.

On the said date, four games will take place simultaneously including the clash between the current table toppers, Rivers United, and the reigning champions, Enugu Rangers.

The NPFL matchday 16 will come to an end on Monday, December 9 with the clash between Akwa United and struggling Bendel Insurance.

Note that the clash between Kwara United and Enyimba of Aba scheduled for Sunday has been postponed indefinitely due to Enyimba’s continental engagement.
