Nasarawa United’s Technical Adviser, Usman Adams, has assured fans that his team is diligently preparing for the new season.
Following an in-house friendly game at the Lafia City Stadium, Adams highlighted the club’s efforts to strengthen their squad.
“We are a work in progress,” Adams said. “We have a number of quality players from top NPFL clubs and a few from about three African countries.
We’re monitoring their progress through pre-season friendlies, and soon we will announce our new signings to show how ready we are for the new season.”
The Solid Miners are engaging in several friendly matches in Lafia before heading to Abuja and Ogun State for pre-season tournaments.
They will first participate in the Abuja Unity Pre-season tournament from August 11th to 18th, 2024, followed by the Optimal Energy Gold Cup Pre-season tournament in Ogun State.
Nasarawa United will face a variety of teams, including NPFL sides like Kano Pillars, Plateau United, Kwara United, Remo Stars, Shooting Stars, and Sunshine Stars, as well as Benin Republic’s Asvo FC.
