Nigerian man laments as he recounts how his fiancée ‘invested’ their wedding money into her business, two months to big day.

The man took to an online platform to vent as he recounted how his wife-to-be had broken his trust.

According to the man, he had given his fiancée money to purchase all the items that would be used for their wedding.

She had assured him that he has purchased everything, only for her to later confess that she hasn’t.

Further probing revealed that she had instead put the money into her business, and defended this by noting to him that she had only invested it.

“I’m really struggling with something that’s come up in my relationship. My fiancée told me she had purchased all the major items for our wedding, which is just two months away. But recently, I discovered she hadn’t bought anything. Instead, she spent the money I gave her on a multilevel marketing business selling products, hoping to make quick profits.

When I confronted her, she admitted it but tried to justify it as an “investment.” I feel betrayed, not only because the wedding is so close, but also because she lied. I don’t know how to handle this moving forward. I can’t even tell my people this update.”
