The Nigerian Army hands over a murder suspect, Ayomide Adeleye to the Lagos State Police following the untimely demise of Idowu Christianah.
Ayomide, a 23-year-old undergraduate had been arrested for abducting and killing a FUNAAB student after demanding the ransom of N3M from the victim’s parent.
In a report via the X platform, Supretendant of Police, Ben Hundeyin confirmed having the suspect in their custody. He added that an investigation into the case has been initiated right away.
“23-year-old Ayomide Adeleye has been handed over to @LagosPoliceNGby 9 Brigade @HQNigerianArmy. The handover took place today, September 5, 2024, at about 1400hrs. Investigation is ongoing,” he wrote.
