A young Nigerian boy, Onwusika Somekenechukwu Ikechukwu has captured the hearts of many with his extraordinary feat in the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC), scoring A1 in all nine subjects.
Onwusika, a student of Chrisland High School, Ikeja, Lagos, achieved A1 grades in all nine subjects he sat for during the examination.
His subjects included Data Processing, Civic Education, English Language, Further Mathematics, General Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Technical Drawing, and Computer Studies.
The news of the boy’s remarkable achievement was shared by Alex Onyia, an education promoter, who revealed the student’s stellar performance through a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Alex Onyia also mentioned that he had selected Onwusika as one of the 20 students he intends to mentor and support in securing possible scholarships.
