First of all let me give a heartfelt thank you for all your thoughts and prayers while I was in the hospital. It seriously touched my heart, so thank you.

As you may know, I suffered a stroke in November (2025) which greatly affected my speech and the left side of my body. I can “walk,” but with a cane. I stay regulated to a wheelchair for safety purposes most of the time. I am going to speech and physical therapy, which has helped some. My doctor said that I probably won’t gain all the strength in my left arm and leg. The speech part has helped in a positive way, however slight.

I will be honest with you, I had been in a majorly depressed mood since I left the hospital. This is a totally new experience for me, and though I know it is wrong in God’s eyes, the thought of ending it all did cross my mind several times. I just didn’t wanna be a burden on my family. But my faith pulled me through.

I had to give up my apartment and move in with Trey and Alicia. I am hoping to move into an assisted living home in the next couple of months. During my “funk” I asked Alicia and Trey not to post anything more about me, it was just too hard to think about.

Anyway, I’m making this short and sweet. I just wanted to write and thank you all from the bottom of my heart. All of you have been like family to me. I love you, all my dear brothers and sisters!
