Nigeria’s biggest music stars continue to dominate the global streaming landscape, with six artists now having surpassed the 4 billion streams milestone across all credits on Spotify.
Leading the pack is Wizkid, whose catalogue has amassed an incredible 11.4 billion streams, followed closely by Burna Boy with 10.6 billion. Both superstars remain among Africa’s most-streamed artists, thanks to years of global hits, successful albums, and high-profile collaborations.
The next generation is equally making its mark, with Rema crossing 6.5 billion streams, while Tems has reached an impressive 6 billion, reflecting her rapid rise as one of Africa’s biggest international stars.
Rounding out the list are Asake, who has now surpassed 4.1 billion streams, and Davido, who recently crossed the 4 billion milestone, further solidifying their places among Nigeria’s streaming elite.
The latest figures highlight the continued global expansion of Afrobeats, with Nigerian artists consistently breaking streaming records and reaching new audiences around the world.
