Asake continues to make chart history as his acclaimed album Work of Art has now spent an incredible 83 weeks in the Nigerian Apple Music Top 10.
This achievement makes the project the second longest-charting album of all time in the Apple Music Nigeria Top 10, only behindWizkid’s Made in Lagos, which holds the record at 107 weeks.
Since its release, Work of Art has remained one of the most dominant projects in Nigerian music, powered by Asake’s signature fusion of Fuji-influenced vocals, amapiano-driven production, and energetic delivery. The album’s consistency on the charts reflects its strong cultural impact and replay value across streaming platforms.
The 83-week milestone is especially significant in a fast-moving music landscape where albums typically rise and fall quickly. Instead, Work of Art has maintained a rare level of staying power, continuously appearing in the Top 10 nearly two years after release.
Asake’s achievement further cements his position as one of the most dominant forces in contemporary Afrobeats, while also placing him in elite company alongside the genre’s biggest record-holders.
